400 Central Developer, Red Apple Real Estate, Names Kevin King as Director of Business Development
Long-time specialist in civic engagement and development joins Red Apple team with substantial plans to grow in Florida
(ST. PETERSBURG – February 23, 2022) – Red Apple Group is pleased to announce that Kevin King has joined the team as the Director of Business Development for Red Apple Real Estate in Florida.
King comes to Red Apple with a wealth of knowledge; having spent the majority of his 20-year career in the public sector and helping to lead the City of St. Petersburg’s recent renaissance as Chief of Staff to former Mayor Rick Kriseman. While at City Hall, King worked alongside economic development officials on every major initiative over the course of the last eight years. King will now focus on expanding Red Apple’s footprint in St. Petersburg and across the State of Florida.
Red Apple Real Estate recently broke ground and began construction of The Residences at 400 Central, a 46-story, mixed-use project spanning an entire city block in the heart of St. Petersburg. 400 Central is anticipated to be the tallest residential building on the West Coast of Florida. The development includes 301 luxury homes, plus retail, restaurant, café and office spaces. Initial condominium sales have already exceeded $150 million in the first 90 days of sales.

Manhattan-based Red Apple Real Estate was founded by John Catsimatidis. Mr. Catsimatidis has deep family ties to St. Petersburg and is personally committed to building a special addition to the St. Petersburg skyline with the 400 Central project.
