CONSTRUCTION UNDERWAY – THE RESIDENCES AT 400 CENTRAL

With initial site work and testing complete, The Residences at 400 Central kicked off construction of the foundation pilings for the new 46-story mixed-use tower in the heart of St. Petersburg.
These permanent foundation elements will be drilled and then filled with steel reinforcing and high-strength concrete. Crews from Suffolk Construction Company are drilling a series of 89 foundation shafts ranging from 87 to 166 feet deep to support the tower. This first stage of foundation construction is expected to be completed within three months.
